Worthy Brothers,

I know, I know, I’m a month late with my first article, but time sure flies by when you’re having fun. My brothers, it’s an honor to be your Grand Knight for the coming Columbian year. We had a great time at Algonquin Founders Days this year (even though Saturday was canceled due to thunderstorms). Thank you to all that stepped up to the plate to lend a hand. Whether you were there for set up, during the fest, take down, or all three, your help was greatly appreciated. The Founders parade was also a huge success in that we walked away with 1st Place in Outstanding Algonquin Not for Profit Participant. We have another busy month, with the Family Picnic making a return after 4 years on Saturday, August 5th, and one of my favorite events, the Hammer Open on Sunday, August 20th. I’ll see you on the course.

As your Grand Knight, I am here to serve. Please reach out to me with ideas/issues. Please attend meetings when possible. Please participate in our event. You are the Knights of Columbus and I look forward to seeing all that we can accomplish together.
