2023-06 Knightly News From the Grand Knight
Worthy Brothers:
It is amazing how time flies. I am just entering the final month of my grand knight year and I feel like I just started. The job is harder and more rewarding than I expected. I have enjoyed the time that I have spent with our council as well as time at the convention seeing other council leadership as well as old friends. I look forward to many more years sitting on the other side of the tables.
In case you are not aware, Council elections are at the meeting on Thursday, June 1st. It can also be an opportunity to see where you might fit into council leadership for the next Columbian year and beyond.
I look forward to seeing everyone at the meeting. We will have a great year under our new leadership and achieve next level accomplishments in the next year and beyond.
As we come out of a holiday weekend, please remember the patriotism of the Knights. Remember always, not just one day, the sacrifices of so many to make the United States the great nation that it is.
Lastly, it has been a while since our council has achieved star. I believe we are six new members from reaching this goal. We will schedule a degree in the near future. If you have any candidates, please invite them to join. It is only with great membership, that the council moves forward.
