From the Grand Knight:
Brothers,
Not much has happened in the past month but we did have an event. The celebration of The Feast day of St Margaret Mary and John Paul 2 was a great success. Thank you to all that came out to help.
As hard is it is to believe, (at least for me) November is upon us and with that comes a jam packed month of events. Starting out with Christmas Tree lot set up 11/11, followed by the Deceased Brothers Mass 11/12. 11/18 our Christmas trees will arrive and once unloaded the lot will be open for business. Then to close the month we have Thanksgiving giving us time to reflect on what we are thankful for over the past year. What better to give thanks then to spread Thanksgiving to those that are serving our great country. Back again is our Adopt-a-sailor program, if you haven t participated before, I highly recommend devoting some time to spend with those serving in the U.S. Navy, a perfect example of our patriotic teachings. This month will require all hands on deck, please be on the look out for the sign up genus to take a shift at our Christmas tree lot.
With November comes Veterans Day, Thank you to all that have or are currently serving in our Military.
Lord God, You have sustained our nation in the past and continue to bless us. We recall how so many have given their lives for the cause of freedom. Men and women continue to sacrifice and serve in the armed forces. Today, we pause to reflect and honor those who gave or continue to sacrifice so much in defense of our freedom to be faithful. Amen
